Research & Practice Concentration - Collaborative Leadership
The emphasis of my doctoral research & study is the need for the development of theories of collaborative leadership, particularly leadership of multi-sector collaborations. As an organizational development consultant, I am particularly interested in identifying effective leadership styles and organizational structures that are conducive to effective collaborations.
Research
My current research on women and collaboration is focused on the leadership styles of women involved in the field of international peace & security.
Survey research will target organizations involved in networking women in international security, such as my former employer, Women in International Security.
Practice
My consulting practice, Global Philanthropic Enterprises (GPE3) is involved in training leaders in effective collaborative leadership styles and organizational structures.
